Setting Up Your Wallet

In order to participate in our EthNexus vaults, users must have both a wallet on the Ethereum blockchain (Metamask) and the Terra blockchain (Terra Station). Please refer to the following step by step guide to setup your wallets.

Setting up a Terra Station wallet

Step 1 - Head to the Chrome Web Store

At this link, you can install the Terra Station Wallet extension for use in your Chrome browser.

Step 2 - Setting Up Terra Station Extension

Once installed, click on the Web Extension in your toolbar.

From here, you may select to connect any existing wallet you may have via a Ledger or uploading your Private Key/Seed Phrase. If you do not have an existing wallet, do check out Steps 3 on this page on how to create a wallet.

Step 3 - Creating Your Wallet

Click on the 'New Wallet' option. The extension will then generate a new unique wallet for you similar to the picture above.

Name your wallet accordingly and set a strong and secure password for it. Write down the 24 word 'Seed Phrase' and store it in a safe and secure location - we do not recommend storing the seed phrase on any electronic devices.

Your wallet's seed phrase is sacred. If you lose access to your funds if you forget any of the words in the specific order. If others gain access to your seed phrase, they can restore your wallet on their computer and thereby gain access to your funds.

It is crucial that you keep your seed phrase in a safe and secure location accessible only to yourself and, if applicable, to those who you trust fully.

Step 4 - Funding Your Wallet

You may begin using your wallet for any interactions on the Terra blockchain, including participating in the EthNexus strategy. For the latter, please refer to the following guide on EthNexus.
